News October 2012 - Century are in talks to merge with Scottish.
The Century Society was established in 1899 as the The New Edinburgh Investment Building Society, and in 1946 the Society's name was changed to that of The Century Building Society. They are members of the building societies association and regulated and authorised by the FSA.

Mortgage Accounts - Century will consider applications on a capital and interest/endowment/interest only basis but, where at all possible, they can also tailor make a mortgage to suit your personal requirements.
